GIRLS RIDING TOGETHER
Community. Empowerment. Equity. Fun.
Girls Riding Together (GRiT) is a focused effort to increase female participation and retention in the sport of mountain biking.
GRiT programs provide opportunities for female riders and coaches from across the state to connect, share resources, and offer support. GRiT programs also seek to increase participation by empowering female riders and coaches to build skill, confidence and leadership, both on and off the bike.
GRiT is about having loads of fun and welcoming female riders and coaches to mountain biking, while encouraging those who have already discovered the sport to make it a healthy, life-long passion.
GRiT Programs
Camps & Clinics bring female riders and coaches together to learn and practice foundational and progressive bike skills in a welcoming environment.
Local Dirts allow female athletes and coaches from neighboring teams to strengthen regional connections and community through competitive and adventure-based rides and activities.
Adventure Rides are for exploring adventure courses and trail systems while creating lasting memories.
Pre-Rides provide a fun way to preview the race course, and learn from and empower one another.
Tent Activities offer space to spend time, build friendships, get silly or creative, and recharge.

βOur daughter is doing things she never knew she was capable of. I am so incredibly grateful that PICL exists and has given her an opportunity to participate in a healthy, life-long activity.β
